The Challenge: Creating Calendars You’ll Want to Return to
For many years, we have been developing custom corporate calendar designs – wall, book, desk, and three-part – for clients such as Henwar, Promesa, Wodne Sprawy, and Biblioteka Bemowo. Each project is created from scratch, closely aligned with the organizational culture, industry, and customer expectations.
Our goal from the outset was more than just a printed product. We wanted the calendar to be a keepsake, a carrier of emotion, a gift to be kept, not thrown away, an item to be treasured. We don’t produce “series” – even if we receive an order for two types of calendars of 100, we consider these to be two different designs, two separate projects, and two separate production processes.

The biggest design and production challenges included: technologically demanding prints, a large number of variations and personalizations, the need to maintain high quality within a limited budget, a strong emotional component, and the combination of various techniques: photography, digital, and offset printing. Furthermore, the clients expected the calendar to be not “generic,” but rather relevant to their industry and tailored to their workflow.
Our Approach: Each Calendar = a Separate Story
1. Emotional projects.
One of our most recognizable ideas was a series of calendars in which:
- each month was illustrated with photos of drawings by children of employees and customers
- every year there were new drawings, new authors and new emotions
- photos of children from previous years showed natural change – growing up, development, time
In this case, the calendar became a souvenir, an ideal Christmas gift, and a record of the “happiest moments” of a given community.
2. Adopted to the industry.
Each project took into account the specifics of the client’s business, industry holidays and anniversaries, and the company’s communication style. For example:
- for IT departments: calendars with Programmer’s Day and IT Day marked
- for institutions related to water protection: calendars with a nature motif for the desktop, changed every month, practical and readable
3. Technology and budget.
We combined new printing and finishing technologies with proven solutions to:
- stay within the client’s budget
- not reduce quality
- achieve the effect of “uniqueness”
Each calendar had high quality requirements – both visually and in terms of materials.
Our process:
- Analysis of the client and their organizational culture.
- Concept proposal – always several variants.
- Graphic design tailored to the industry and recipient.
- Selection of printing and binding technology.
- Production – even in multiple versions in parallel.
- Evaluation – do customers look at the calendar and want to repeat it next year?

The Effects of Cooperation: Customers Who Come Back to Us
Over the years, Wide Vision has created hundreds of unique calendars, but none were a copy of the previous one. Customers received products they were proud of and happily displayed on their desks or at meetings. Calendars, even those from a couple of years ago, still look good and retain their quality. Furthermore, customers have an emotional attachment to them and keep them as keepsakes. Thanks to this personal touch, when users look at the calendar, they see not only the dates but also children’s faces, drawings, memories, and the history of their company.
The best proof of its effectiveness is that clients want to repeat projects and often eagerly await the next edition, inquiring about our latest ideas weeks in advance. Furthermore, they treat the calendar not only as a promotional item but also as a part of their organization’s identity.

Summary: Attachment and Uniqueness Can Go Hand in Hand
Creating calendars has taught us that: technology is important, but emotions are more important; personalization builds relationships, and a good calendar isn’t a seasonal product, but a story written on 12 pages. By combining creativity, technology, and customer understanding, we create calendars that are not only enjoyable to look at, but also enjoyable to return to – and that will stay with us for years to come.
